Winston-Salem is a city in and the county seat of Forsyth County, North Carolina. The city is called the “Twin City” for its dual heritage and “the Camel City” for its historic involvement in the tobacco industry. Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem State University, and the University of North Carolina School of Arts are located within the city.
